Well, my friend, that’s where I come in!

Vintage instrument sales and repair expert, at your service.

Man with glasses and gray hair and beard stands in a doorway. He is wearing a blue shirt, and has a slight smile on his face.

Hi, I’m Jim Webb, a second-generation luthier and music shop owner who has a worldwide reputation for providing great customer service and the highest quality instruments and repairs

I’ve been training my entire life to follow in my father’s footsteps. I love to see musicians fall in love with their instruments all over again after having work done, and I’m dedicated to helping my customers find their soulmate instruments.

When you work with us, we’ll make sure you’re happy, and we have a heap of references and testimonials from satisfied musicians to prove it!

Whether you’d like to peruse our online catalog, come into the shop to pick out an instrument, or just visit one of our events, we invite you to be a part of our living Appalachian tradition.

How I can help you...

Purchase...

Explore OUR SHOP to see the latest in new, vintage, and custom instruments. Check back often, as our stock is constantly being updated. And if there's something special you're looking for, reach out to me personally and we'll make it happen.

Repair...

Sometimes, an old friend just needs a little TLC, and I bring a lifetime of experience to making sure your instruments are looking and sounding their best. Start a conversation and we can work out the particulars of your repair job and shipping. (If applicable.)

Events...

It's our pleasure to welcome some of the finest pickers from Kentucky and beyond to our shop, and we offer occasional workshops, jam sessions, and concerts in our quaint shop that was once a 1940s-era general store. Check out our calendar here.
