This Maybell banjo that was built by Slingerland Drum Company in the 1930s is a rare gem. 

It started life as a tenor but now has a 5-string neck expertly crafted by James E. Webb. 

Facts & Features:
-Excellent condition
-Built in the 1930s
-Five string neck is built of downed maple wood from Tomahawk, KY, harvested after the ice storm of 2009.  

This banjo has a low action and plays and sounds like a dream.   

Comes with a new hardshell case.
